husband with ms/devics

Anybody with any advice. We live in a small town in Wisconsin with one Neurologist who does not listen. Almost 2 yrs ago my husband was diagnosed with MS after a bout with severe skin pain in his right arm, general fatigue and weakness and one occurrance of incontinence. They did an MRI and found 8 lesions. They did a round of steroids and he was good for a little while. He has had 4 bouts since then each has been much worse than the last and now both legs are involved. He has more lesions and the spinal cord is now involved. He has slight vision problems but nothing that anyone over 35 hasnt had. Each time they just give him steroids. He has also been on 3 different injectables with terrible side effects and injection site reations and been taken off them. Now they want to test him for Devic's syndrome but havent been able to find an insurance code for it so we have to wait, again. Sorry for the frustration but everyday for him seems more of a challenge. He learned last week that they are putting him on disability at work and he seems down about not being productive. Just want to get him moving forward either with a treatment or a new path. Does anyone have any sage words of wisdom or know if this sounds like MS or Devic's? Confused and Broke in Wisconsin
