Hello, sorry to intrude (I'm ex Royal Marines), but I'm looking for anyone who might have known my father-in-law who served at RAF Akrotiri poss in the late '50s early '60s. His name is Robert John Opie, from Lemington, Newcastle-upon-tyne. He was based there with his wife Elsie, daughter Jan, son Gary, his youngest daughter, my wife, Tracey was born after ther returned to UK. Sorry about lack of Unit, number, rank and dates I'm trying to get more information. Unfortunatley 'Bob' died last year and I'm trying to get some information about his RAF days for Tracey.
