Can anyone help. I passed a Counterbalance Forklift truck course back in 1989. Is it still valid as it has no expiry date and do Grandfathers rights apply? Cheers
You cannot get grandfather rights for a fork lift truck certificate. Employers are expected to undertake regular refresher training and the RTITB's NORS system only registers operators for three years before they have to be refreshed. A refresher course is only usually one day though.
