forlift expiration time

Could you tell me if a forklift license expiry date runs out at the end of that expiry day.

Re: forlift expiration time

Hi Stuart,

First there is no such thing as a forklift licence. There is a certificate to prove you have been trained and passed a test. It does not expire but if you are on the NORS register it has to be renewed after three years. The RTITB will write to you at home when it's due.

It is up yo your employer to decide if and how often they wish to do refresher training. Most employers use 3 years but they don't have to.

Re: forlift expiration time

Hiya Stuart..a basic operators certificate (not a licence) lasts forever officially BUT the RTITB will take the operators name off the NORS register after 3 years which is the recommended time that an operator should do a refresher course. Hope that helps Billy
