in a world where confusion laughs at our every distorted move, simplicity, i have found, has paved a refreshing road to clarity.
a couple of hundred years ago, colonial acquisition dominated the world scene - and look where it's left us today. and though we've discovered the continents of our earth, though we've sapped almost as much as we can from our exploited globe, we haven't left it at that. those most unattractive qualities of domination, acquisition, possession and ownership at all cost are those very same underlying attitudes that lead modern "civilised man" to desire more prestigious cars, bigger houses, and bigger bank balances. we're running out of people to compete with, and forums in which to do so, why no see if we can do a little better than jo blow across the road? why not dominate him? silly isn't it

i've never been on this site before, but it's a good idea to have a place where people can offer their thoughts. are you a musician yourself, or just interested in the peaceful message mr lennon and his friends embraced? ... or both?!!
i live in Australia, and am leaving on a tour around the continent a few days after xmas, playing tunes and hopefully finding something a little more worthwhile than sitting in an office for 5/7th's of my time... myself and a mate have been planning this trip since the start of the year... so it's nearly all systems go!!!
