Read This..Tell me what u think

It takes one spark to start a fire but a spark turns into fire only because the material around the spark ignites..if a spark which is so minute can influence whatever is around it and turn that into fire then that is power beyond my imagination because if a spark were as big as me then it would easily engulf the world in its flames within a marginal period of tme..
There is however a certian factor that determines the fate of a spark..if the spark falls into an area which does not have any combustable material around it the spark is extinguished just as instantly as it was born...hmmm makes me think ... so at the end of it all FATE is what determines weather that spark will or will not become a fire..
Even when a fire is all over the place at one point it does go out. it has to.. either on account of water or fire extinguishers or no oxygen whatever the reason bottom line it goes out because it ran out of material to burn the same material that gave it life..,so is the fire really powerfull?? it is destructive we all know that but it is just as fragile in nature!! the ironic part of it all is that the fire destroys what feeds it..if it doesnt do it the fire is controlled like in a lamp.
Man has exercised his intellect to harness whatever he can from nature for his comfort..but in this process he has not only caused extensive damage to wildlife and habitat but also plotted a course for this world's doom..
Lets think of man as that little spark that landed where it found just the right material to burn..so now mankind is a raging fire, but what will we do when we run out of material to burn??.....if i knew the answer i would not waste my time writing this down.
But imagine if we could burn life a lamp the controlled flame on the wick seldom destroys anything. Why cant mankind develop discipline and follow it??
If you believe in a god then dont you think he can blow out this fire he called man just as easily as he made it?? or is it time for us to go,have we served our purpose in this world...If so then I will change and leave this human existance i posses because i want to be there beyond this limitation of a body where my thoughts are clouded by my materialistic needs and are mainly governed by my feelings which keep changing..man was not built perfect,he calls it being human,..according to me instead of stopping here and trying to make everything around us change we must change ourselves so that we can try to be perfect..I wonder will it be possible to have a thought flow which is not at all governed by my bodily limitations?? by this i mean my feelings, cravings, needs and wants

In as much as the tiny spark ignites the fire, you too are a spark that ignites a fire in those around you.The destuction of man is as inevitable as the question is futile,so do not concern yourself with such things as they are out of your control. The destruction of nature however is more of an error in our thinking.Only when we learn to respect life itself can we respect the lives of the animal kingdom. As for mankind's intrepid desire this question is personal and can only be answered from within. And what of our purpose in life, well you ARE the tiny spark and all that you say and do influence those around you be they many or few.You can have a very profound effect upon people without ever knowing it.The idea is to be happy with oneself ,to achieve inner peace through your own ideals, morals and integrity, and to let others see your steadfast devotion to your principles. The real question is;Are you happy with the person in the mirror?

"The real question is;Are you happy with the person in the mirror?"

To tell you the truth I see an illusion of Jesus in the mirror, is that dangerous? Does that mean I'm going to die a horrible death? I don't know.
All wish to do is leave a legacy behind, like John Lennon left Imagine for people like me, who look for answers to the worlds problems. My legacy will be the imaginefoundation.co.uk, a website in tribute to the song Imagine, not a charity or a non-profit organisation or for capitalism but just a simple web-site where people can sign a guestbook if they agree with the message of Imagine by john.

Kash

If you look in the mirror and see and illusion of Jesus, I say no you will not die a horrible death, however you need to find your self in that mirror and leave your own legacy. "imagine there's no heaven its easy if you try, no hell below us, above us only sky".
Please think of what john was trying to tell us. I think you need to make your own way, not to say you can't have religion in your life.

I agree with anthoney in as much as, you should not concern your self with things you can not control. As for the Question, Is man a flame burning out of control, I reply NO.The Earth has survived for billions of years with any manner of creatures inhabiting it, and at no time has the earth "Burnt out" so to speak. I believe the earth considers us a "mosquito" so to speak. when we are all dead and go the earth will remain, as if it had brushed a bug from its shoulder. So as Anthoney put it look in the mirror and find a way to see that person in a possitive light.

I don't believe in god I am an agnostic, but were I to believe in a higher power, which I may some day as I am curently concsumed by Buddism. If I did believe in a higher power I would have to say that if we are here for a reason anything we create or do to the environment, is part of the plan. But as the Buddah said Find peace within ones self and help your fellow beings.
