Demonstrate your opposition to a film that spits in the face of the inspirational figure that was John Lennon. It is an insult to the man, his family, his fans and his legacy.
This film will inevitably raise the celebrity status of the maggot who took Lennon's life. The public has every right to be outraged.
The petition is for those who are opposed to a Hollywood creation which is categorically wrong. Please don't assume that silence is the best form of protest.
I've just signed it. I don't use to sign a petition against a moovie that I didn't see. But I trust in a John's fan. I trust in you, Simon. Cinema and music are, as to me, the best way to send messages. But I don't beleve in people who spit in the face of genius. It's an insult, if I understand what you say, and it's a wrong truth... So, I signed it, for John and his family.
I saw the documentary on John Lennon's assination on A&E today and it was informative however, it said that Chapman was sick of being a nobody. Well, he's now a nobody; that killed one of the most influential somebody's that ever lived. This still makes him a nobody. Any movie that speaks ill of John Lennon, his music, his family, his life, I will not be seeing. I will not give this man an oppritunity to be someone in my eyes....neither should anyone else.
