Celebs feel impact of California wildfires
MALIBU, Calif., Oct. 23 (UPI) --
The wildfires raging through Southern California have driven some celebrities from their homes and halted production at various locations, CNN reported Tuesday.
Malibu, one of the areas most directly affected by the fires, is home to Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Mel Gibson, Jennifer Aniston, Victoria Principal and Sting.
Gibson and Principal were both evacuated early Monday morning and their representatives said they were in undisclosed locations and their families and pets are safe.
So far, their houses have also been spared by the blazes.
Production on Kiefer Sutherland's hit TV drama, "24," had to shut down at a location near Irvine due to a fire Monday and some staff members at the Santa Clarita Studios in Valencia couldn't get to work Monday due to traffic on area roadways.
CBS' "Cold Case" and ABC's "Big Shots" either canceled shoots or changed locations due to the fires.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's newly renovated bed and breakfast, Chateau La Rue, in Fallbrook, was evacuated.
