Charlie Sheen remarries in quiet ceremony
LOS ANGELES, May 31 (UPI) --
Actor Charlie Sheen got married in a simple ceremony in Los Angeles Friday, this time marrying real estate investor Brooke Mueller, People magazine said.
An anonymous source told People the 42-year-old actor, who was previously married to actress Denise Richards, wanted the wedding to be a quiet ceremony with a limited guest list.
"Brooke really wanted to walk down the aisle in a big way, but Charlie insisted they keep it simple and small," the source said.
Nearly 60 close friends and family members were on hand for the wedding, including actress Rebecca Gayheart and "Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane.
The "Two and a Half Men" star proposed to the 30-year-old investor last June while they were in Costa Rica, presenting her with a $500,000, 11-carat yellow diamond and platinum ring.
People said the couple, who made their first public appearance two years ago, asked all wedding guests to donate to two charities rather than present them with traditional wedding presents.
