Good Dog

GOOD DOG

As the idea of you reached fruition,

genetic makeup tumpled through space from infinity

like dice, with volitional intention.

This idea landed here with black & white markings.

The opposite of that considered normal.

Outlines of black with white, trace the marking

of that which defines you.

That which defines you

here in the confines concrete, and wood.

A definition of marking - not masking.

Not defining you, but presenting you

with a smiling face, a wet tongue, and a

tail wagging at the end of your body.

A body that contains a simple soul - the essence of love.

A body that creates movement, like art

like smiles, frowns, scratching,

and, your tail wagging at the end of infinity.

Re: Good Dog

Paul,

I like your discussion of the "simple soul" of dogs. Also your presentation of the genetic shuffling that resulted in this incredible creature is effective. Nicely done!
