Hardin County Wolverines set to play Team Canada in Wolverine Charity Classic III Game
The Hardin County Wolverines will take on team Canada in a benefit game to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

For Immediate Release:
Elizabethtown, Ky, April 6th, 2008: The Hardin County Wolverines Semi-Pro Football Club will play Team Canada on Saturday, April 26th at 1:00 pm at Doug Smith Stadium in Elizabethtown Kentucky. The game is being played as a fundraiser for the local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Set as the “Battle of the Border,” team Canada will arrive in Elizabethtown with their all-star team of athletes in an attempt to prove that “American” football is just as strong in Canada as it is in Kentucky.
The Hardin County Wolverines are a non-profit Christian owned, community driven organization dedicated to the promotion and support of organized amateur athletics.
The Wolverines are entering their 6th season of play in Hardin County. The team is currently ranked number 10 in the country according to the National Football Events Coaches Poll. Most recently the Wolverines won the North VS South Challenge Bowl in Homestead Florida, 31-6 over the South Dakota Lawdawgs.
All proceeds from the Wolverine Classic III Charity game against Team Canada will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana. Tickets will be available at the gate:
