Be careful for that which you seem to be wishing for. The results of games played in mud have been the harbinger for many a team to ultimately lose their playing fields.
As many have found, obtaining authorization to utilize a given field for your program can be problematic with the best of circumstances. Obviously, there are a few teams that are not closely impacted by a rain soaked field, however, the next "whine" will come from somebody wanting "quality" teams to play in their leagues, with a "quality" venue to play on. One CAN NOT take this for granted.
Let us hope that the rain does not "dampen" any team in their future endeavors.
I agree...if we get the amount of rain that we're supposed to, you'll probably see more games NOT being played at all, than game being played in the mud.
That's the "bad" that comes with the "good" when you play on a school's field. That's if the school doesn't have field turf.
