The only thing consistent about this amateur football thing is that it will be inconsistent. The prime reason is that it is not a professional endeavor. Life takes over; guys change jobs, guys move, guys get married, guys have kids that add responsibility. If a "KEY" guy happens to have one of these "Life Events", the situation on a given team can change rapidly.

Keith "Beef" Maloy gets the opportunity to fulfill a long time goal of Head Coach of a H.S. program. Result: No more Darke County Warriors
Josh Terhune gains the opportunity to join a H.S. Staff as an Assistant. Result: No more Dragons
Every once in a while, some teams know with some degree of advanced warning but in many cases, when the opportunity presents itself, it is "carpe diem" (seize the day or the moment). If most would care to admit it, there are quite a few teams that are a few "KEY" individuals away from extinction. In most cases, those folks don't get the "PROPS" they deserve. THEY DO most often get the complaints.
The best answer you SHOULD GET is which teams are PLANNING to be back. I'm not trying to "poo-poo" on your parade, just "keepin' it real".
