Tornados welcome new Dance Director, Kim Roudebush
Tornados welcome Kim Roudebush as their new Dance Director. Kim has already scheduled an audition on May 14 and is looking for women devoted to being dance professionals. Kim has a vast background in dance and choreography. She is willing to teach what she has learned to women who have the same passion and desire.
Dance has been the passion of Kim Roudebush’s life. She took her first dance class at age 5. She was nominated Dance Captain for the LNHS (Lawrence North High School) Crimson Dancers and volunteered to teach dance for the Dance at Craig program, which both started her love of choreography. Kim competed in many dance competitions and won awards such as Outstanding Overall Performance and Showstopper American Dance Championships First Place. After high school, she auditioned and got accepted into the Stephens College Dance program in Columbia, MO. Kim studied ballet, modern, jazz, musical theatre, choreography, ethnic dance, acting, and pilates. After college, she have continued dancing and recently expanded her dance knowledge through teaching ballroom dance.
“The biggest skill that I have to bring to the table is my diverse knowledge of dance and artistic choreography.” Explains Kim.
“Not only are we looking for ladies that can dance but also those that have enthusiastic attitudes. Our dance team is a great stepping stone toward auditioning for Colts Cheerleader, Pacemates, or Fever Inferno Dancers.” She concludes.
If you are interested in getting to the next level, we suggest that you come and dance with us for a year to gain the experience needed for professional dancing auditions. The Indy Tornados Lady Syrens dance team auditions will be held May 14th, location and time TBA.
