Dave you had all the reason in the world to believe that "I really thought it had completely gone to hell."

It did, what went on in Babylon all those was a disgrace.
Our message proved to be the right one. We were looked at as some crazy cult prayn' for a miracle, but guess what, who would have ever thought we would win out?
The message here remains the same. ASIA is WETTON DOWNES PALMER & HOWE.

I thought I might add, not as a jab to the other band called asia, but rather a compliment to the real Asia. I went to see the "other" band, and they were giving the tickets away at the door at toads place in ct.

That seemed sad to me. I have sold far more tickets in my band at any given show.
To see the impact the real deal has even after all theese years, and the undeniable damage done in past years to the name.
Asia have out done themselves once again.

As loyal a fan as I have always been, I must admit this is surprising me. But then again it shouldn't I know.

I guess I thought that fans of real bands and music, had given in to all the crap out there.

I am very glat to be wrong. Not only am I gald for Asia's sake, but I have a renewed faith in people having the ability to still recognize what is good. I really thought it had completely gone to hell.

Thanks to Steve, John, Geoff, and Carl. Have fun out there.

Well how about this. 4 days ago I called foxwoods, and they were 50% sold. Good but not great. I asked if the box office expected a sell out, and the nice woman there said no. Holiday weekends are tough, people often have to many other things to do. There were 765 tickets left. 11:47 am. Sat. 130 tickets remain. I asked "do you think it is going to sell out" She stated "probably" they sold lots of tickets yesterday, and we will likely get walk ups tomorrow, as the hotel is sold out.

Hey Boz. I was at the outside bar with my wife, Father in Law, and a physician client of mine for about an hour and a half before the show. I was well into my 7th or 8th drink by that time, and feeling no pain! We will have to hook up in NYC next Friday or in Red Band on the 12th! The Jim Thorpe show was just as great as the Trumps Marina show! Two shows in a row has been wonderful. To all the real fans out there: You are really in for the show of your life. They are the best band that I have ever seen life. The magic is back! Enjoy!

Thanks Boz,
Wish you were coming to Foxwooods, why don't you take a drive down to CT tomorrow? Come on Boz!

Actually there was a discrimination case against Hooters years ago. A girl got mad because the boss said to her, look at the name, Hooters, they want to see your ti#s.

Dave I sent you an e mail re tomorrow with my #.

Eileen welcome, I don't know anyone going to Cleveland, do we guys? Anyway glad you logged on your post, and thank you the compliments about the club.

Chad what does the wife listen to? Anything but rap and head bangers is fine with me.

Paul I went to your site, and may I say you have a couple of hot babes there as well.

That video from Rochester is awesome!
Nice to see new fans coming by.
Still hard to believe that the reunion is actually happening, do hope I get to go to a show.
Art, my wife is tired of Asia after years of listening to it. She did like it when I first played it for her but after years and years of it...
Asia played backwards on a turntable would be better than some of the stuff she listens to, h*ll, might hear some cool messages.

Video looks fine up above,if you want you can delete the post below so you don't have it there twice.

It's all oringinelly done in quick time format, but myspace automatically transforms it to a flash which seems to work well for myspace users.

Umm Roller skating.
I think I remember roller skating to Don't Cry and Eye To Eye,cause the owner of the roller rink loved the Alpha album.

Sorry that I missed seeing Art last nite. We spoke earlier in the week and exchanged cell phone numbers but I guess that we were both so overwhelmed by the performance that we forgot about everything else.
I met Martin Darvill,John and Geoff at Hooters around 6pm. We really didn't discuss the upcoming show, just kidded around a bit re the Hooters girls, one of whom was flat chested. They must have had one of those discrimination lawsuits but she was definitely not a Hooters Girl.
The show was at 9. I don't remember the setlist but I'm sure they did all of the first album,"Smile" from the 2nd album and about 6 songs from their other bands.
Steve and Feoff's voices blend so well with John's during the harmonies, especially on "Court" and "One Step Closer."
Carl is soooo much fun to watch.
Steve played about 10 different guitars. John's vox were awesome.
Geoff is the master of the keys.
"Video" was incredible complete with megaphone and choruses. The concert must have run over 2 hours.
I saw Martin and Rick Nelson at the Casino bar after the show. Damien, who reviewed the Sirius Radio show on CTD, was also there.
I got to meet Phil Carson. A very nice guy.
I'll see them again in New York this weekend.
Dave,wear the white NE cap.
I'll walk up to you without introduction and remove the cap.
That should be a great way to meet.
Just don't forget because you might throw a punch at me and think,"Who is this A Hole taking my cap."

Welcome Eileen. Sounds like you did some Sole searching.

This site is awsome, join us for some wacky good times. John Wetton has lots of activity on his site called chasing the dragon. I think it pays to visit both atleast once a day.

Hope to see you here more often. I wonder how many Asia crazies like us are out there, and they just don't show up out on theese sites. Probably tons. After this tour gets around, I would expect many new people.

Sole has only 1 rule out here, you must like Desiree.

I would love to "bang a couple down" with other Asia nuts like me.

Just don't want to bang 1 to many down, as I want a clear head for the show. Last time I banged to many down, I twist my foot. I nearly fell.

I am lucky though, I am still alive.
